ENCINA WATER POLLUTION FACILITY ODOR PROBLEM
Statement of the Matter
A petition signed by numerous-residents has been submitted
to the City concerning the odor problem at the Encina Water
Pollution Control Facility over the signature of Mrs. Agnes
Gusnard. Discussions have been held by the staff with
Mrs. Gusnard explaining the reason for the odor. The report
from the County, has been transmitted concerning the actions
taken. The petition submitted contained 207 signatures.

Recommendation
Letter to be sent Mrs. Gusnard of the Council's previous
instructions to the staff toward correction of this
problem.
Council action:
6-17-75 The Council acknowledged receipt of a petition containing 207
signatures, demanding that action be taken to stop the odor
emanating from the Encina Water Pollution Control facility.
The Public Works Director reported on the reasons, for the
delay in correcting the situation.

Stink" which is to be placed on the City Council Agenda
for the meeting of June 17» 1975. This petition, pages
1 through 5 and 7 through 1^ consisting of 207 signatures,
is in regard to the offensive odor that comes from the
Encina Water Pollution Control Facility.
