AGREEMENT FOR SEWER G WATER CONNECTIONS, CARLSBAD STATE BEACH
Statement of the Matter
Improvement of Carlsbad Beach by the Department of General Services, , Office of Architecture and Construction, provides for the instal la- tion of rest rooms at two 1ocat.ions. The rest rooms will require connection to the City sewer and water system.
The State has agreed to pay the City for the installation of sewer laterals and water services, water meters, sewer connection fees
and front 1 ine charges. The agreement to pay the necessary fees
has been formalized and is attached.

Attached is a rough draft of the proposed Agreement, SA 4880, as discussed by telephone with this office on June 10, 1975.
Please have your legal department review the referenced Agree- ment for approval without the money amounts which you will provide when they are computed. If any changes or additions to the Agreement are to be made, please notify this office fmediately. Hopefully we can meet the schedule for the next council meeting and avoid further delay.

RESOLUTION NO. 3680
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF. CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FARLSBAD
AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES (OFFICE OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION) TO PROVIDE SEWER AND WATER SERVICE FOR CARLSBAD STATE BEACH AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. That that certain agreement between the City of Carlsbad
and the State of California, Department of General Services (Offici
of Architecture and Construction) for sewer and water connections,
a copy of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and incor-
porated herein by reference, is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorizc
and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the
City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held the 1st
day of July , 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
