Statement of the Matter
At the July 1, 1975 Council meeting, appointments were made
to the Mayor's Youth Committee. At that time Mr. Chuck Grafft
was appointed chairman. Subsequently, at a regular meeting of
the Mayor's Youth Committee, the committee took action to
present the name of Mr. Scott Rossall as chairman for Council
consideration. 'Therefore, in order to be responsive to the
Mayor's Youth Committee request, it will be necessary to
rescind Resolution No. 3688 and adopt a new resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. 3712
A RESOLUTION Or THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY Or CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 3688 APPOINTING ME14BERS
TO THE -MAYOR'S YOUTH CO01ITTEE.
WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 3683 established the
Mayor's Youth Committee; and
WHEREAS, said resolution prescribes the method of
appointing a chairman and members to said committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California as follows:
Section 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
Section 2. That Resolution 3688 is hereby rescinded and
the following person is hereby appointed to serve as chairman of
the Mayor's Youth Committee:
SCOTT ROSSALL chairman
Section 3. That the remaining members will be appointed
and confirmed in the manner prescribed in Resolution No. 3683 .
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the
%W day of August 1975, by the following vote,

Councilwoman Casler
