Subject: FINAL MAP - CARLSBAD TRACT NO. 7^-19, UNITS 6 & 7,
LAGUNA RIVIERA
Statement of the Matter
1. Engineering staff has completed checking the final map of Carlsbad
Tract No. 7^-19 for conformance with the State Subdivision Map Act and
applicable local ordinances of the City of Carlsbad. The final map
conforms substantially with the conditions of the tentative map approved
by City Council on January 21, 1975.
2. As a result of Carlsbad Tract No. 7^-19, a 10' easement granted to
the Oceanside Mutual Water Company in 1930 and a 20' easement granted
to the Carlsbad Mutual Water Company in 19^1 are no longer required by
the City of Carlsbad. ' •
3. Previously rejected Lot "A" of Laguna Riviera No. 5 and Lot "D" of
Laguna Riviera No. 2 should now be accepted for public street purposes.

Recommendat ions
That the City Council adopt:
1. A motion approving the final map of Carlsbad Tract 74-19, subject
to receipt of bonds, fees and deposits within 15 days,
2. Resolution No. ^ *] *3> 0 authorizing the Mayor to execute a quit-
claim deed of the said water easements.
3. Resolution No. ^ 73 / accepting for public street purposes
certain previously rejected lots.
Council Action
9-2-75 It was moved that the final map for Carlsbad Tract 74-19 be
approved subject to receipt of bonds, fees and deposits within
15 days ; further
Resolution No. 3730, authorizing the Mayor to execute a quit-
claim deed, was adopted; and
Resolution No. 3731, accepting for public street purposes
certain previously rejected lots, was adopted.

RESOLUTION NO. 3730
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED INVOLVING
A WATER LINE EASEMENT NO LONGER REQUIRED BY THE
CITY.
WHEREAS, two water line easements exist in the City of
Carlsbad, 10 feet and 20 feet in width, described in Exhibit "1"
and "2" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein;
and
WHEREAS, these water line easements are no longer required
by the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute quitclaim deeds in the form shown on
Exhibit "1" and "2" attached hereto and by reference
incorporated herein, in favor of the person or persons
legally entitled thereto.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED AT a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad on the ?nd day of September
1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis. Skotnicki and
Councilvvonian Casler
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.

RESOLUTION NO. 3731
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD ACCEPTING FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES
CERTAIN PREVIOUSLY REJECTED LOTS.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
as follows:
1. The following described real property located in the City
of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, particularly
described as Lot "A" of Laguna Riviera, Unit No. 5, Map No. 7260,
recorded April 18, 1972, and Lot "D" of Laguna Riviera No. 2, Map
No. 6165, recorded August 8, 1968, which were previously rejected
by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad for public street
purposes, are now hereby accepted for public street purposes.
2. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad shall cause a
certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of
the County Recorder of San Diego County and to cause a copy hereof
to be forwarded to the County Assessor of the County of San Diego,
State of California.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held September 2,
1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis, Skotnicki and Councilv/on-an Casle
