Subject: YIELD CONTROL ON FOREST AVENUE AT HIGHLAND DRIVE.
Statement oi' the Natter ,
At its August 5, 1975 meeting the Traffic Safety Commission recommended
that a YIELD sign be installed facing eastbound traffic on Forest
Avenue because the sight distance is poor, and the assignment of
right-of-way is necessary.

Recommendations
The City Council adopt Resolution No. establishing YIELD
control for eastbound traffic on Forest Avenue at its intersection
with Highland Drive.
Council Action
9-2-75 Resolution No. 3134 establishing Yield Control for eastbound
traffic on Forest Avenue at its i.nterseciton with Highland
Drive, was adopted by title only.

5 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
6I Carlsbad as follows:
7 THAT yield control be established on Forest Avenue at
8 its intersection with Highland Drive; thereby requiring eastbound
91 traffic on Forest Avenue to yield to all traffic on Highland Drive.
10 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City of
11 Carlsbad City Council held on September 2, 1975 , by the
12 following vote, to wit:
13 AYES: CouncilmancFrazeeloaCasle, Lewis, Skotnicki and
14 NOES: None.
