SUBJECT: GENERAL PLAN MENDMENT DATES (Calendar Year 1976)
Statement of the Matter
On February 3, 1976, the City Council approved the following General
Plan Amendment Public Hearing dates:
April 6, 1976
September 7, 1976
Open (To be set by City Council Action)
Inasmuch as the Planning Staff needs approximately 60 days lead time
for analysis, it is recommended that the Council set-the regularly
scheduled meeting of December 7, 1976 as the final General Plan date
for 1976.
Therefore, the filing date and the Planning Commission date schedule
would similarly be set as:
Filing Deadline:^ September 30, 1976
.Planning Commission: November 30, 1976
City Council: December 7, 1976
Recommendation:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt December 7, 1976 as the
final Public Hearing date during which General Plan Amendments may be
heard.
Council Action:
9-7-76 The staff recommendation was accepted and December 7, 1976 was set as the
dated for final Public Hearing during which General Plan Amendments may
be heard.
