Statement of the Matter
. No. 1027 to modify the City Hall air conditioning system. Two bids

On November 20, 1975, bids were opened byAthe City Clerk for Contract
were received as noted:

The engineer’s estimate for this’project is $12,200. Funds in the
amount of $14,500 have been budgeted in Account #1-127-4.0 for this
work.

Recommendation
It is recommended that City Council adopt Resolution No.&?7?37 accept
bids and authorizing the Mayor to execute the contract on behalf of t’

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT #lo27
CONDITIONING SYSTM FOR MODIFICATION OF THE CITY €€ALL AIR , .. - -
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsba,
modification to the City Hall air conditioning system, Contr,
No. 1027; and,
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this construction was
mitted by J.W. Mechanical in the amount of $8,733.00; and,
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $14,500 were budgeted ir
75-76 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of tl
City of Carlsbad as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
The bid of $8,733.00 by J.W. Mechanical of San Diegc
California for Contract #1027, for modification of t
City Hall air conditioning system is hereby accepted
and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized t
execute a contract therefor.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Decembt Council of the City of Carlsbad held the
1975, by the following vote, to wit:
