Statement of the Matter
A park is needed in this area because of the total number of residents
who are not in ready access to a public park. $35,000 has been budget-
ed and approved for the 1975-76 fiscal year.

PRE -SITE PREPARATION
1. Take soil samples.
2. Shoot grades and establish drainage.
3. Remove all vegetation from area (scrape).
4. Apply a 7-14 day weed killer.
5. Locate and stake all structures and courts.
SOIL PREPARATION
1. Rip and cross rip area with tractor.
2. Apply Gypsum @ 1 Ton/10,000 sq. ft.
3. Apply redwood shavings @ 2 yds./1000 sq. ft.
4. Rip in all amendments and level to grade.
5. Mound soil (rough).
CONSTRUCTION
1. Locate and run sewer 'line to comfort station.
2. Establish grades and drainage for concrete.
3. Set forms and grade (include comfort station).
4. Run plumbing and electrical lines.
5. Install tracer lines under forms for electrical and
irrigation system.
6. Set light stations.
7. Form for concrete mowing edge.
8. Pour and finish all concrete.
9. Form multi -purpose court and pave (in conjunction with
concrete forming and pouring).
10. Commence building of comfort station.
11. Pull forms and grade.
LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION (In Conjunction with Rough Grading)
1. Locate main lines and stake.
2. Run new main lines and set up drinking fountain.
3. Stake heads and run (trench) lines.
4. Install irrigation system.
5. Blow out lines and check coverage.
6. Make alterations to system.
LANDSCAPE GRADING
1. Rough grade all lawn areas and mounds to
2. Stake out trees.
3. Run irrigation system and backfill (tamp in laterals).
4. Bring to finish grade.
LANDSCAPE PLANTING
1. Plant all large specimens stake or guy.
2. Fine grade shrub area.
3. Plant large and small shrubs.
4. Plant ground cover
5. Apply 16-20-0 fertilizer and rake into lawn area @
10 lbs./1000 sq. ft.
6. Fine grade lawn area.

MISCELLANEOUS INSTALLATIONS
1. Install light fixtures.
2. Install drinking fountains.
3. Install benches.
4. Install apparatus and tot lot.
5. Finish comfort station.
6. Install picnic tables.
7. Hook up and install irrigation clock (important to
coordinate with construction of comfort station and
planting timing).

10. Install bike rabks.
