LOKER Statement of' the Matter On January 7, 1975, the City Council approved the Tentative Map of Carlsbad Tract 74-21 by Resolution .No. '3566. - The applicant has '' requested that the subject 'ten.tative map be extended for a period of one year to January 7, 1977. The City Engineer advises that the CMWD, Buena Sanitation District, Planning, Building and Fire Departments. have been contacted to deter- mine if they have any objections to the extension of the tentative mp. I have enclosed herewith a check for $160.00 to cover the cost of extending this tentative map. LOKER WHEREAS, on November 26, 1974, the Carlsbad City Commission adopted Resolution 1119 recommending to the Ci Council that Tentative Map (CT 74-21) be conditionally ap and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad 17th day of December, 1974, considered the recommendation Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was certi as complete for a previously issued entitlement for this and the Planning Director has found the Tentative Map (CT to be in prior compliance with the City of Carlsbad Envir Protection Ordinance of 1972; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci the City of Carlsbad as follows: A. The CC&R's for this development shall be submitte to the Planning Director for review and approval prior to the approval of final map. 13. The developer shall work with the Carlsbad Municipal Water District and the City Fire Department in preparing a water master plan for the project. Minimum flow for fire and domestic purposes shall be 6,000 gallons per minute. 14. The applicant shall grant to the City a 10-foot- wide Open Space easement for pedestrian and bicycle purposes adjacent to the future C Stree-t, which is within the project boundaries. The applicant shall improve the easement with asphaltic concrete to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. I : 15. The applicant shall submit a revised tentative map to the City Engineer which shall show the following: a. Interior lot slopes. b. Correct slopes and/or daylight lines at rear c. Storm drains shall be installed down proposed slopes to outlet at toe of slope. Alignment shall be roughly perpendicular to proposed slope contour lines, and adequate erosion control shall be provided at outlet. 19. The applicant shall provide complete half-street improvements on Palomar Airport Road, reflecting the ultimate centerline alignment and grade. Such improve- ments shall include a permanent FCC curb and raised median 20. Palomar Airport Road shall have three median openings: one at.the westerly intersection of A Street, one at future C Street and one at the easterly intersec- tion. of B Street. ' The developer shall install traffic ' ' signals at the A'and B Streets intersection's'as deter- . mined by any future City Council policy and shall provide turn pockets and channelization for eastbound traffic on Palomar Airport Road. The Engineering Department has 'sent plans and profiles of the sewer to the Utilities Maintenance Depart- ment for review and comment as to depth and alignment.
