Subject : PLAZA CAMINO REAL EXPANSION AGREEMENT
Statement of the Matter
On November 4, 1975 the City Council adopted an agreement for
participation in the Plaza Camino Real 'parking lot expansion.
Since that action, some new information concerning the required
fire flow requirements has been developed resulting in the
deletion of a proposed water line in Marron Road and a determination that a 6" line in Monroe will be adequate for additional water requirements to the Plaza, even though ultimately, a 12" line will be needed to serve other lands in the area.
Clarification has also been requested concerning the reimburse-
ment obligation of parcel 154 160 24 as shown on Exhibit B of the agreement.
Exhibit
1. Exhibit 'B' - map of the Plaza Expansion Agreement (Wall Exhibit)
2. Letter dated December 19, 1975 from City Manager to
Nicholas C. Banche
Recommendation
1. That the City contribute to the costs of a 12" water line in Monroe Street which are in excess of the cost of ?lacing a 6" line in the ground.
2. That parcel 154 160 24 be divided into three subparcels with the development of a subparcel requiring street reimbursement
cost for that subparcel only.
3. A reduction be made from $45.00 per front foot for Marron Road street improvement reimbursements to approximately $35.00 per front foot, which is due to the elimination of a water line in the Marron Road extension.
If Council agrees with these recommendations, the matter should be referred to the City Attorney for preparation of the necessary amendments in the agreement.
Council action
1-8-76 Staff recommendations were approved and the matter was referred to the City Attorney for preparation of the necessary amendments to the Agreement.
