On December 17, 1974, the City Council "approved the'tentative ma
of Carlsbad Tract 74-4, by Resolution No. 3556. The applicant h
requested. that the subject tentative map be extended for a perio
of one year to December 17, 1936.'
The City Engineer advises that the C.N.W.D., Planning, Building
Fire Departments have been contacted to determine kf they have a
objections to the extension of the tentative map.. Having receiv

On behalf of the owners of the above referenced property,
Dr. and Mrs. Grant Beckstrand, we request a one-year
extension of the expiration date of December 17, 1975 for
the Tentative Map CT 74-4.
We understand that the concurrent rezoning ZC-142 per
Resolution 3555 is permanent, and that no additional input
to the Environmental Impact Report EIR 242 is necessary.
Enclosed is a check (#7494) in the amount of $171 .OO which
is one-qusrter of the tentative map fee for the processing of
the time extension.

The Planning Department has no objection to the tract map extension.
We request that Condition 25 of the approving Resolution No. 3556 bc
replaced by the following:
25- The applicant shall install a fully automated sprinkler syszem landscaping of all constructed slopes and a 10-foot-wide aspha tic concrete path, in a manner acceptable to the Parks and Ke- creation Director.
