SUBJECT: GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT DATES (Calendar Year 1976)
Statement Of the Matter _ On January 6, 1976, the City Council set
tentative General Plan Amendment dates of March 16, 1976 and September
7, 1976. The staff, in setting up their work program and Planning
"Commission calendar, noticed a problem with the March 16th date.
March 10, 1976 is the earliest possible date for the Planning Commission
hearing in order to properly review any proposed amendment. Because of
public notice requirements (10 days prior to Public Hearing), the City
Council would not be able to hear the items until April 6, 1976.
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council change their
first General Plan Amendment public hearing date from March 16, 1976 to
April 6, 1976. The revised dates would be:
April 6, 1976
September 7, 1976

April 6, 1976, September 7, 1976 and left the third date open.
