Mgr, t\ Sub3ect: FIRE STATION NO. 3 - CONTRACT NO. 1029 —T — Statement of the Matter On February 3, 1976 bids were opened by the City Clerk at 10.00 a.m. for Contract No. 1029 to build Fire Station No. 3.. The engineers estimate for this project is $94,850.00. The low bid of $90,245.00 was submitted -by Armstrong -McHugh Corporat-on of Del Mar. Funds in the amount of $105,000.00 have been budgeted in account 22-120-9.2. Exhibits 1. Bid summary �d��' 2. I MI TE Z W W w F7 1.J l� 1 RESOLUTION NO. 3857 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING3 BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT NO. 1029 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION 4 OF FIRE STATION NO. 3 5 WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for 6 construction of Fire Station No. 3, Contract No. 1029; and, 7 WHEREAS, the low bid received for ,.his construction was sub- 8 mitted by Armstrong -McHugh Corporation in the amount of $90,245.00 9 and, 10 WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $94,850.00 were budgeted in 11 FY 1974-75 for this project; 12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the 13 City of Carlsbad as follows: 14 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 15 2. The bid of $90,245.00 by Armstrong -McHugh Corporation of 16 Solana Beach for Contract No. 1029, for construction of Fire 17 Station No. 3 is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are 18 hereby authorized to execute a contract therefor. 19 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City 20 Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 17th dray of February, 1976, 21 by the following vote, to wit: 22 AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Chase, Lewis, Skotnicki and 23 NOES: None Councilwoman Casler 24 ABSENT: None 25 t ��( 26 ROBERT C, FRAZEE, M or 27 ATTEST: 28 � MA A T E.
