MODIFICATION TO CITY HALL AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

Statement of the Matter
In reviewing theLontract specifications , the Building Maintenance
Division discovered that no provision was made for chemical treat-
ment of the hot water circulating system.
Scale and corrosion buildup in the system will cause it to operate
. inefficiently and could permanently damage pumps, coils, etc. In- asmuch as there has been no maintenance on the hot water circulating
system since installation, it is adviseable to accomplish the work
now and provide a chemical feeder to facilitate the cleaning of the
hot water circulating system. ginal contract is $8,733.00 and funds budgeted are $14,500.00.
