Statement of the Matter
Modifications to the air conditioning system in City Hall are 70%
complete and a marked improvement in performance has been achieved
Two (2) items of work which have not yet been completed (attic ven
ilators and averaging thermostats) may be deleted from the contrac
with no detrimental effect to the operation and efficiency of the
air conditioning system.
One area in which the system is not proviJing an acceptable comfor
level is the computer room. The solution to this problem will
and must be handled independently of this contract.
Change Order No. 2 will provide a deduction of $983.50 to the oris
contract cost of $8,733.00, bringing the total contract cost to
$8,254.78. Funds in the amount of $14,500 have been budgeted in
account no. 1-127-2460 for this work.
