COMFORT STATION AT LAGUNA RIVIERA PARR, CONTRACT NO. 1036
Statement of the Matter
The improvement of Laguna Riviera Park is taking place in three
phases. The first phase was the constructi'on of lighted tennis
courts under Contract No. 1018. The second phase, Contract No.
1033, involves landscaping, irrigation and recreation facilities;
bids will be opened on May 3, 1976. The third phase is the
construction of a comfort st'ation which is being handled by a
separate contract due to the nature of the work.
The comfort station is 350 square feet and contains a
storage area as well as a mens and womens room. The estimated cost is $17,500 and funds are availab1e.h Park Area No. 4
for the work, but has not yet been appropriated.
The total cost of the Park Improvements are as follows:

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAF&SBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROYING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A COMFORT STATION AT
LAGUNA RIVIERA PARK -
CONTRACT NO. 1036
' . WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined that it is necessary and in the public interest
to construct a comfort station at Laguna Riviera Park: and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing
of all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation
and other expense necessary or incidental for said project,
Contract No. 1036, have been prepared and filedfin tie

Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and are
incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE', BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: - 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans and specifications as presented are
hereby approved.
3. That the City Clerk.of the City-of Carlsbad is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed to
publish in accordance with law, notice to
contractors inviting bids for construction of a
comfort station at Laguna Riviera Park, hereinafter
described, in accordance with the plans and
specifications hereabove referred to.

the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held the 27th
