Subject: STOP CONTROL OPJ HILLSIDE DRIVE AT PARX DRIVE
Statement of the Matter
At its April 6, 1976 meeting, the Traffic Safety Commission recom-
mended that, due to the change in the geometrics at the above inter-
section (it was a "T"intersection, but is now a four-leg intersection), the accidents, and the traffic volumes, the YIELD sign facing east- bound traffic on Hillside Drive be changed to a STOP sign. There is already a STOP sign facing westbound traffic on Hillside Drive which was installed as part of the subdivision on the east side of Park Drive.

Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. establishing STOP control for eastbound and westbound traffic on Hillside Drive at Park Drive. .

RESOLUTION NO. 3894
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA DESIGNATING STOP CONTROL ON
HILLSIDE DRIVE AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH PARK DRIVE.
Re it resolved by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
That stop control be established on Hillside Drive at its
intersection with Park Drive, thereby requiring eastbound and west-
bound traffic on Hillside Drive to stop for all traffic on Park
Drive.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 4th day of May , 1976, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Pac'kard, Skotnicki and
