Statement of the Matter
The San Diego Gas and Electric Company is scheduled to begin work
on the underground electric system in Roosevelt Street on May 3,
1976.
Municipal Code (Chapter 11.08) provides that affected property owners
within the district be notified of the date they must be ready to
receive underground service from the new system.
The removal of the overhead electrical system is scheduled for
August 19, 1976.

A RESOLUTION OF TBE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, SETTING THE TIME TO
BE READY TO CONNECT TO UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC
SYSTEM IN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 4.
WHEREAS, on December 18, 1973, the City Council of the City of
larlsbad adopted Resolution No. 3305 establishing Underground Dist-
:ict No. 4; and
WHEREAS, Section 11.08.030 of City Code requires that property
Iwners be notified of the time to be ready to connect to the Under-
ground system by subsequent Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the underground system is to be completed by July 16,
L976, and overhead poles are to be removed by August 20, 1976; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
>f Carlsbad as follows: '
1. That the date on which affected property owners must be
rcady tc receive zz2zrground service is Ju~e 11, 1976.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be recorded in
:he County Recorder's office and also mailed to each affected pro-
Ierty owner.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
