Subject : - SELECTION OF ARCHITECT FOR SWIMMING POOL
Statement of the Matter
The Swimming Pool Architect Selection Committee consisting of
Councilmen Lewis and Skotnicki, Pool Committee Chairman Schindler,
Parks and Recreation Commissioners Kinghorn and Wollrich, and
City Department Heads Beckman and Johnson met on April 12, 1976
to review material presented by fifteen pool architects and selected
four to interview. Visits were made by the Parks and Recreation
Director to the site of pools designed by the four architects. On
April 29, 1976 the committee interviewed the four architects and selected two for further consideration. Visits to additional pool
sites of the two architects were made by the Director of Parks and Recreation. The committee met on May 12, 1976 and selected the firm of Kammeyer, Lynch and Partners as the best qualified architects.
The sum of $270,000.00 has been budgeted for the pool at this time.

Recommendation
That the City Council direct staff to prepare an agreement for
architectural and consulting services with the firm of Kammeyer
Lynch & Partners for later submission to Council for review and
approval.
