Subject: FIRE STATION NO. 3 - CONTRACP NO. 1029 - CHANGE ORDER N0. 1
Statement of the Matter
The Fire Chief has asked for minor modifications to improve the func-
tional use of the Fire Station (items 1 and 2). In addition, items
3 and 4 are required to facilitate the construction of the structure
(they were not part of the original plans and specifications). The
recommended modifications consist of:
1. Installation of two (2) windows on the north side of the Fire
Station.
2. Installation of three electrical outlets in the apparatus room.
3. Installation of 3/8" shear paneling at three corners of the
apparatus room.
4. Installation of 1" x 2" firring strip for roof tile.
The total additional amount for change order number one is $745.00.
Funds are availabile for the change order in Account No. 22-122-0830.

Recommendation
Approve Change Order No. 1 to Contract No. 1029 and direct the City
Engineer to execute the Change Order.
Council action
7-6-76 Change Order No. to Contract No. 1029 for Fire Station #3 was
approved and the City Engineer was directed to execute same.
