EFFFCT'L E MATE. OF SALARY PLANS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1976-1977.
Statement of the Matter
Meet and confer negotiations with all employee groups have been
completed. The completion of the negotiations comply with the
intent of Resolution No. 3939, in that salary plans for Fiscal
Year 1976-77 can be effective July 1, 1976. As additional time is
required to complete implementing documents, it is requested that
the provisions of Resolution No. 3939, be extended to July 20., 1976.

concerning effective date of any salary plan adoptdd after
July 1, 1976.

RESOLUTION NO. 3962
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, MODIFYING
RESOLUTION NO. 3939, CONCERNING THE EFFEC-
TIVE DATE OF ANY SALARY PLAN ADOPTED AFTFR
JULY 1, 1976.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 39.39, a
statement of intent concerning the effective date of -any salary
plan adopted after July 1, 1976; and
WHEREAS, the City Council through the City Manager has
completed meet and confer negotiations with three employee groups
regarding salaries for the 1976-1977 Fiscal Year; and
WHEREAS, preparation of the implementing documents will
delay formal City Council adoption of all salary plans prior
to July 6, 1976;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That any salary plan adopted for Fiscal Year 1976-1977,
prior to or on July 20, 1976, shall be effective on July 1, 1976.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 6th day of Juiv , 1976,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
Councilwoman Casler
NOES: None
ABSENT: ivcne
