NO PARKING ZONE - TAMARACK AVENUE AT VALLEY STREET
Statement of the Matter
At its August 3, 1976 meeting; the Traffic Safety Commission
recommended that, because of the impaired sight distance
(caused by parked vehicles) between children at the cross-
walk on the south side of Tamarack Avenue and eastbound motorists approaching the crosswalk, a time-limit NO PARKING
ZONE be established on the south side of Tamarack Avenue
from a point 55 feet west of the crosswalk to a point 15 feet east of the crosswalk. The time of the parking restriction
was recommended to be 7:OO a.m. to'5:OO p.m. daily - excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD DESIGNATmC; A PARKING RESTRICTION
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF TAMARACK AVENUE AT VALLEY
STREET
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
That a NO PARKING ZONE be established during the hours
of 7:OO a.m. to 5:OO p.m.. daily, excluding Saturdays, Sundays,
and holidays, on the south side of Tamarack Avenue from a
point 15 feet west of the centerline projection of Valley
Street westerly for a distance o€ 70-feet.
