The City has been in receipt of several positive inquiries for the
purchase of the Greenwood property which presently houses the Park
and Recreation Department. The staff feels these are serious
inquiries but the interested parties have been requested not to
make firm offers until a policy decision is made concerning the
disposal of the property.
If the Council if interested in disposing of the property, conside
will have to be given to relocating the Parks and Recreation Depar

If the Council wishes to.proceed with the disposal of the Greenwoo
property, they should request the staff to prepare a report on
alternative methods of relocating the Parks and Recreation Departm
Upon the Council being satisfied that the Department can be adequa
relocated, we would then make further recommendations concerning t
processing and conditions of sale.
Council Action:
9-21-76 Following lengthy discussion, it was moved that the staff be 6,irected to research this matter in accordance with the Council's inquiries and repor back to the Council; said report to include any restrictions which might have been placed on the Deed when the City purchased the Greenwood proper a staff appraisal of the property and an estimated cost for the relocatio
of the Parks and Recreation Department.
