TV' SUBJECT: GENERAL PLAN PROGRESS REPORT Statement of the Matter Sections 34217 and 65307 of the California Government Code require cities and counties to submit an annual general plan progress report to the California Council on Intergovernmental Relations (CIR) by October 1st of each year. This report must include the status of the plan and what programs are in process to implement the plan. Because the information contained in the report is current and informative, staff suggests that copies also be made available to the general public. Exhibits: Draft of "General Plan Progress Report: 1975-1976" Recommendation: Staff requests that the City Council review the attached draft report and approve it as to form before printing and distribution. Council Action: 9-21-76 Approval was given the draft report, as submitted by the Planning Staff, and it was approved as to form for printing and distribution
