Statement 02 the Matter
The term of Ronald S. Schwab on the Parks and Recreation Commission
expired in August, 1976. It will therefore be necessary to appoint a member to the commission to bring it to its full complement of seven members. This will be for a four year term.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 1025.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1025 of the City of Carlsbad establishec
:he Parks and Recreation Commission; and
WHEREAS, the term of Ronald S. Schwab expired August, 1976;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
:ity of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve

Dear Sirs and Madam,
I understand that MI-. Ronald S. Schwab is being con-
sidered as a member of the Parks and Recreation Cornmission.
I&. Schwab is one of the principals in the lF?estern Land
Development Corporation, the owner and operator of the Rancho
Carlsbad Mobile Home Park. That operation is at present in
bankruptcy because of poor management in all phases of the
UXobile Home Park affairs by the principals concerned.
It is my opinion thst ICr. Schvab is not qualified to
be a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission and res-
pectively request that his name be withdrawn from consider-
ation for such a position.
