Subject :
NO PARKING ON MARRON ROAD
Statement of the Matter
In order to facilitate the anticipated traffic volumes on Marron
Road from its westerly terminus at Jefferson Street to its
easterly terminus at Avenida de Anita, a continuous two-way left
turn lane plus two through lanes in each direction were installed
on the section west of El Camino Real and will be installed on
the section east of El Camino Real. This no parking restriction
will ultimately include new sections of Marron Road as they are
constructed in order to also facilitate bicycles.
Therefore, due to the lack of street width, it will be necessary to restrict parking on both sides of Marron Road for its entire
distance. Since there are several driveway and parking lot openings, the no parking restriction will also help secure good sight distance along the entire roadway.
