Statement,of the Matter -
From time to time it may be necessary to file claims for damages by the City in Small Claims Court in the North County Judicial District for such items as past due water bills, broken street
signs, etc.
In order to file a claim with the Small Claims Court, staff is
recommending that the City Council designate certain City
employees to file such claims on the City's behalf.
The following City employees are recommended for Council approval:
Linda Miller City Clerk's Department
Jim Elliott
Barbara Stoner Finance Department Finance Department
Julie Almack Library Joe Skymba Library
William C. Baldwin

If Council concurs, adopt Resolution No.500 /
' Council Action:
3-1-77 Resolution No. 5001, designating certain City Employees to file

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF .CRRLSRAD, CAI~IFORNZA DESIGNATING
CERTAI'IJ' EMPLOYEES TO FILE CITY CLAIMS FOR
DAI*IAGES IN SIYALL CLAIMS COURT. - -
WHEREAS, it may be necessary for the City to file claims
tor damages in the Small. Claims Court of the North County
Judicial District; and
WHEREAS, the Cit-y wishes to d-esignate certain employees
