REOUEST :
This Street Name Change Group I1 contains four separate street name conflicts. streets in this group have very little development, and there was no opposition to these Street Name Changes at the Planning Commission hearing.

Upon a further review by Fire and Police it was decided that changing Alisma Street to two names was unnecessary; therefore, Staff recommends that Alisma Street be changed only to Cazadero Drive.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that City Council Resolution No. $i5'2,7 be adopted changing Los Pinos Drive to Los Pinos Circle; Unicornio Place to Onda Place; Unicornio Court to Vianda Court; Unicornio Way to Vispera Place; Alisma Street to Cazadero Drive; and Mimosa Lane to Rocoso Lane.

Planning Commission; and
provided by City Council Policy Statement No. 20; and

Street to Cazadero Drive and /r&-kmo Road; and Mimosa Lane

Staff recommends that the proposed street name changes be APPROVED for the following reasons:
1) Streets with the same names or similar-sounding names make it
difficult for emergency vehicles to respond to correct locations.
2) Approving the name changes for the conflicting streets will re-
lieve this situation.
3) The name changes will help promote the intent of the City Council
Street Naming Policy.
BACKGROUND
This is the second in a series of seven public hearings on street name changes. Each new public hearing becomes somewhat more complex as
streets are grouped in accordance to development, with the least- developed streets going first.
DISCUSSION
The SNC Group I1 contains four separate street name conflicts. The
streets in this group have very little development and should be
relatively easy to process (please see summary sheets for further discussion).
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
No Environmental Assessment is required.
GENERAL PLAN INFORMATION
The proposed street name changes are not in conflict with the General Plan.
