YIELD CONTROL ON HARBORVIEW LANE, AND ON HOOVER STREET AT
ADAMS STREET
Statement of the Matter
In order to establish the proper assignment of right of way at certain T-intersections along. Adams Street, the
Traffic Safety Commission, at its April 5, 1977 meeting, recommended that YIELD signs be installed on Harborview
Land and on Hoover Street.

RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council adopt .Resolution NO.$&& establishing
YIELD control on Harborview Lane and on Hoover Street at
their intersections with Adams Street.

5-3-77 Resolution #5063 was adopted, designating yield control on . Harborview Lane and on Hoover Street at their intersections with Adams Street.

RESOLUTION NO. 5063

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING YIELD CONTROL
ON HARBORVIEW LANE AND ON HOOVER STREET AT THEIR
INTERSECTIONS WITH ADAMS STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
That YIELD control be established on:
1. Harborview Lane at it5 intersection with Adams Street,
thereby requiring westbound traffic on Harborview Lane to yield
to all traffic on Adams Street;
2. Hoover Street at its intersection with Adams Street,
thereby requiring westbound traffic.on Hoover Street to yield to
all. traffic on Adams Street.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held’on the 3rd day of May * 1977 -
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
NOES : None Councilwoman Casler
