Subject: FINAL MAP APPROVAL - CT 76-2 (ROYAL HOMES NO. 6) UNITS i, 2, and 3,
AND ACCEPTANCE OF RESERVED STREETS.' APPLICANT: CARLSBAD DEVELOPMENT CORP.
Statement of the Matter . '^
1) Engineering Staff has completed checking the Final Map of Carlsbad ..'
Tract 76-2 (Royal.Homes No. 6) Units 1, 2, and 3, for conformance
with the State Subdivision Map Act and applicable local ordinances
of the City of Carlsbad. The Final Map conforms substantially with
the conditions of the Tentative Map approved by the City Council on
May 18, 1976 by Resolution No. 3902.
2) Lot "E", reserved for future street, El Camino Mesa Unit No. 1, Map
No. 5493, recorded November 10, 1964, was offered for dedication but
was never accepted by the City for public use. Acceptance of the
abovementioned reserved future streets is nqw in order.
3) Because of the recently enacted sewer moratorium, an appropriate note
will be placed on each sheet of the Final Map to indicate that, while
sewer service is currently available for all lots within this sub-
division, the City Council has e'nacted Ordinance No. 7047 imposing a
moratorium on the issuance of building permits subject to certain
exceptions. These lots are currently excepted from this ordinance.
This exception could change' should building permits not be obtained
forthwith within 3 months, or should the building permits lapse.

RECOMMENDATION;

Adopt a .motion approving the Final Map of CT 76-2 (Royal Homes No. 6)
Units 1, 2, and 3.
Approve Resolution No. 4j77 regarding .acceptance of Lot "E" reserved
for future -street of El C Ami no Mesa, Unit No. 1.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING FOR PUBLIC STREET
PURPOSES CERTAIN PREVIOUSLY REJECTED EASEMENTS
REQUIRED BY CARLSBAD TRACT 76-2 (ROYAL HOMES NO. 6)
UNITS 1, 2, and 3.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby
6 || resolve as follows:
711 1. The following described real property located in the
8 City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California,
9 particularly described as Lot "E", reserved for future street
10 according to Map thereof No. 5493, recorded November 10, 1964,
11 which was previously rejected by the City Council of the City of
12 Carlsbad for public street purposes, is now hereby accepted for
13 [public sr.reet purposes.
14II 2. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad shall cause a
15 certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of
1 the County Recorder of San Diego County and to cause a copy thereof
17 to be forwarded to the County Assessor of the County of San Diego,
