There is no development on Retiro at this time. The City is currently holding a check from Mr. Woodward in the c amount of $235.50, which is the estimated cost of changing the street . signs. I have recently met with the planning staff, and we have selected new names for the streets to be constrncted in the project. I would like to be able to change the name of the existing east-west street now designated as "Retiro". I feel the name, if mispronounced, denotes the elehent of being "retired" which is contrary to the strong viahlk family market that also exists i.r! the area. I have selected the name of Del Rey Avenue as a substitute, and it is acceptable to the planning staff. I am willing to bear the cost of replacing the exisitng street signs as evidenced by my enclosed check in the amount of $235.50 as per the attached letter from Mr. Charles D. Grim of the planning staff. I Yours truly, THE WOODWARD COMPANIES DON E. WOODWARD iLU 0 1 cy7
