ACCEPTANCE OP RESERVED FUTURE STREET

1. Engineering staff has completed checking the Final Map of
Carlsbad Tract 74-14A (Tempi in Heights Unit No. 1) for con-
forrnjinee with the State Subdivision Map Act and applicable
local ordinances of the City of Carlsbad. The Final Map
conforms substantially v/ith the conditions of the tentative
map approved by City Council on May 3, 1977 by Resolution
No. 5049.
2. Lot "A" reserved for future street, El C ami no Retil Unit No. 5,
recorded July 24, 1970, Map No. 6693, was offered for dedication
but was never accepted by the City for. public use. Acceptance
of the abovementioned reserved future street is now in order.
3. An appropriate note will be placed on each sheet of the Final
Map to indicate this map has been approved upon the express
condition that building permits shall not be issued for any
development within this Final Map until the City Manager
determines that sewer service is available for such development.

"RECOMMENDATION:
That City Council adopt a motion approving the Final Map of
Carlsbad Tract 74-14A (Teraplin Heights Unit No. 1)
Approve Resolution No. 5_Q_9_7 regarding acceptance of Lot "A"
reserved for future street of El Camino Mesa Unit No. 5.
Council Action:
5_2A-77 The Final Map for Carlsbad Tract 74-14A was aoproved and Resolution No. 5097
was adopted by title only.

2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING FOR PUBLIC STREET
3 PURPOSES CERTAIN PREVIOUSLY REJECTED EASEMENTS
REQUIRED BY CARLSBAD TRACT 74-14A (TEMPLIN HEIGHTS)
4 UNIT NO. 1.
5 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does h-'-reby resolve
5 as follows:
7 1. The following described real property located in the City
8 of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, particularly
9 described as Lot "A" reserved for future street according to Map
10 thereof No. 6693, recorded July 24, 1970, which was previously
11 rejected by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad for public
12 street purposes, is now hereby accepted for public street purposes.
13 2. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad shall cause a
14 certified copy of this Respolution to be recorded in the Office of
15 the County Recorder of San Diego County and to cause a copy thereof
16 to be forwarded to the County Assessor of the County of San Diego,
17 State of California.
