SALARY PLAN FOR MISCELLANEOUS EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1977-1978
Statement of the Matter
Necessary to the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City and Carlsbad City Employees’ Association
signed and agreed to on June 28, 1976, is the adoption of a Salary Range Schedule for Miscellaneous employees for Fiscal
Year 1977-1978. Accordingly, such salary schedule is attached for considerationfby the City Council. The Memorandum of
Understanding signed lJune 28, 1976 was for a two year period.

RESOLUTION NO. 5101
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY RANGE
SCHEDULE FOR MISCELLANEOUS EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1977-1978 AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 3955, AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 3954 approved a
Yemorandum of Understanding regarding wages and other terms
snd conditions of employment for Miscellaneous Employees of the
3ity , and
WHEREAS, it is now appropriate to implement that portion
>€ said memorandum providing for salary adjustments for lliscellaneous
Zmployees by the adoption of an amended salary plan:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
3ity of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct:
2. That the revised Classification and Salary~ Range Schedule,
ns set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof
is hereby adopted as the salary plan of the City of Carlsbad for
nll Miscellaneous Employees included therein for Fiscal Year 1977-197E
to be effective July 1, 1977;
3. That Resolution No. 3955, as amended, for M~scellaneous
Zmployees is rescinded.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, by the City Council of the
Jity of Carlsbad at a meeting held on the 7th day of June ,
1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilnen Frazee, Lewis, Packard, Skotnicki and
