STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
The San Diego Department of Sanitation and Flood Control has ap]
for the General Plan Amendment, Zone Change and Conditional Use
for the Palomar Solid Waste Transfer Station.
are $260.00 . The City has no policy on requesting fees from 0'
governmental agencies. We have examples in the past of both acc
and waiving fees.
In this particular request we feel it is to the benefit of the (
the fees since the request is for a public works facility which benefit Carlsbad as well as the region.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council waive fees for the Gene
Plan Amendment, Zone Change and Conditional IJse Permit for the
Palomar Solid Waste Transfer Station.
