Subject : SALARY PLAN FOR FIRE SAFETY EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1977-1978.
Statement of the Mahter
Necessary to the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding
between the City and the Carlsbad Firefighters Association, Inc., signed and agreed to on August , 1977, is the adoption of a Salary Range Schedule for fire safety employees for Fiscal Year 1977-78. Accordingly, such salary schedule is attached for consideration by the City Council.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING
A SALARY PLAN FOR LOCAL SAFETY FIRE
EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1977-1978 AND RESCINDING PORTIONS OF RESOLUTION NO. 3972.

WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 51 86 , approved
Memorandum of Understanding regarding wages and other terms and
conditions of employment for Carlsbad Firefighters Association,
Inc. ; and
WHEREAS, it is now appropriate to implement that portion
of said memorandum providing for salary adjustments for local
public safety fire employees by the adoption of an amended salary
plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the revised Classification and Salary Range Schedule
as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof,
is hereby adopted as the salary plan of the City of Carlsbad for a1
local safety fire employees, to be effective July 1, 1977.
3. That Resolution No. 3972, as amended for local safety
fire employees, is rescinded.
