WATERLINE REPLACEMENT - VARIOUS LOCATIONS CONTRACT NO. 1030.
Statement of the Matter
Don Hubbard Contracting Co., the contractor for subject project has satisfactorily
completed all work on Contract No. 1030. The original contract amount of $93,48,9.34
has been reduced to $88.072.48 due to reduced quantities of materials actually used
on the project.
Change Order No. 1, decreasing the contract amount by $5,416.86, is attached for
approval. Ten percent of the finial contract amount ($8,807.25) is being withheld
and will be paid '35 days after the Notice of Completion is recorded.

Recommendations:
If Council concurs, approve Change Order No. 1 and adopt a motion accepting the
work, ordering the City Clerk to record the Notice of Completion and, release the
bonds 35 days after the recording date.
