Statement of the Matter
The appointments of Planning Commissioners 'J' IC' FIKES
and DONALD E. YERKES expire during April 1978. Resolutions
for naming replacements to the vacancies are attached for
council consideration.

A RESOLUTION,OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE CITY OF CARLSBAD PLANNING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Commissioner "J" 'IC" FIKES 's term expires during
April, 1978;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitation is true and correct.
2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve
as a member of the Planning Commission in the position vacated:
EDCJIN S. SCHICK, 3R. for a term to expire in April, 1982.
