Mgr. -*.I --- Subj ect : "FOUR-WAY STOP'' CONTROL - CHESTNUT AVENUE AND WING STREET Statement of the Matter -____I__ Due to the balance of entering traffic volumes (see Exhibit 1) and the antici- pated increase in pedestrian activity (Chase Field now has lights for nighttime 'baseball), the Traffic Safety Commission, at its May 1, 1978 meeting, recommended that "FOUR-WAY STOP'' control be implemented at the intersections of Chestnut Avenue and Exhibits - Harding Street. 1. 2. Condition 6 Collision Diagram Resolution No .54/3 establishing "FOUR-WAY STOP" control at the intersection of Chestnut Avenue and Harding Street. 4 Recommendation If City Council concurs, adopt Resolution No establishing "FOUR-WAY STOP" control at the intersection of Chestnut Harding Street. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held the 16t h day of May , 1978, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Anear and Councilwoman Cas1 er NOES: None ABSENT: None /pdk?&Jd 4-w RONALD C.
