LA COSTA MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
Statement of the Matter
The budget for the first year of operation of the La Costa
Maintenance District provided funds for services of the
assessment engineer. Since the formation of the district
has been abandoned, funds must be provided from the General
Fund to meet the expenses involved in the proceedings to
establish the district.
The costs involved in the proceedings are indicated below:
1. Assessment Engineering Service $ 3,950.00
2. Legal Services 500.00
3. Printing Expense 27.05
4. County Assessor - Ownerships
and Mailing Labels 28. 62 ^
$ 4,505.67
A fund transfer from General Fund unappropriated balance to
cover the aforementioned costs has been prepared.

Council action
6-7-78 Resolution #5435 was adopted, approving the transfer of
funds from the General Fund unappropriated balance in
the amount of $4,505.67 to cover costs of the proceedings
due to the fact the district was abandoned.

RESOLUTION NO. 5435
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING A TRANSFER OF FUNDS, RELATIVE
TO THE LA COSTA MAINTENANCE DISTRICT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
1. That the transfer of four thousand five hundred five
dollars and sixty-seven cents ($4,505.67) for cost of proceedings
involved with the La Costa Maintenance District is hereby
authorized and approved.
2. That Department of Finance Fund Transfer No. 44 on file
in said department and incorporated by reference herein is
approved.
