Statement of the Matter
The North Coast Junior Women’s Club is offering to donate and
install a 25-foot, 3-section removable flag pole and a flag to be used on special occasions and to be located at the north end
of Holiday Park.
The club would like to dedicate the donation on July 4, 1978.

Recommendation
Adopt Resolution No. &#+!L<b accepting gift, direct Staff to
prepare appropriate letter of appreciation on behalf of the
City, and to coordinate installation.

A RES0;LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY 017 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ACCEPTING
A GIFT OF A FLAG POLE AND A FLAG AT
HOLIDAY PARK.
WHEREAS, the North Coast Junior Women's Club of Carlsbac
WiS:ieS to present the City of Carlsbad a 25-foot, 3-section
removable flag pole and a flag to be used on special occasioi
and to be located at the north end of Holiday Park; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pu
to Sections 37354 and 37355 of the California Government Cod!
NOW, THEWFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of t
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of the flag
and the.flag for use at Holiday Park on behalf of all. the ci
of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of th
