Statement of the Matter
On March 1, 1977, City Council adopted Resolution No. 5001
designating certain City Employees to file City Claims for Damages in Small Claims Court. Due to personnel changes in
the past year, we are requesting redesignation of certain
City employees to file such claims on the City’s behalf.
The following City employees are recommended for Council approval:
Valerie Hughes City Clerk’s Department
Jim Elliott Carol Neu
Julie Almack
Joe Skymba
Finance Department Finance Department
Library Library
William C. Baldwin City Manager’s office

RESOLUTION NO. 5746
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 5001 AND REDESIGNATING CERTAIN EMPLOYEES TO FILE CITY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT.
WHEREAS, it may be necessary for the city to file claims
for damages in Small Claims Court of the North County Judicial
Iistrictt and
WHEREAS, the city wishes to redesignate certain employees
to file such claims on its behalf;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
3ity of Carlsbad, California, as follows: ,

2. That Resolution No. 5001 is hereby rescinded;
3.
That the above recitations are true and correct;
That the following persons are hereby designated to file
:ity claims for damages in Small Claims Court of the North County
