SUBJECT: Disposition of Obsolete Property
Statement of the Matter
The City of Carlsbad has several items and pieces of equipment that can no used by any department. These items can be sold and monies received, depos the appropriate City Fund.
Exhibit
1. List of Obsolete Property - Exhibit "A".
2. Resolution No. 5 755.
Recommendation
It is recommended the items be declared obsolete and Notice of Sale be pub1 followed by sale of equipment. If Council concurs, they should adopt Resol No. ,q75s.

5755 RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING CERTAIN ITEMS OF EQUIPMENT AS OBSOLETE AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SUCH ITEMS.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined t
tain items of equipment can no longer be used and are obsolete; and
WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the City of Carlsbad to dispose
items.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
as follows:
1. That the above recitation is true and correct.
2. That all equipment listed in Exhibit "A" be declared obsolete.
3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to pro
publish Notice of Sale and to dispose of a71 items of obsolete equipmen
