Subject: COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING ORGANIZATION STAFF PRESENTATION (Flow of Felony Cases Through Criminal Justice System) Statement of the Matter A request has been received from Comprehensive Planning Organization for a ten minute presentation showing crime statistics for the San Diego region and the flow of felony cases through the Criminal Justice System. The Board of Directors,after seeing this presentation,recommended that it be made to each City Council and the Board of Supervisors. The Board of Directors unanimously recommended that the same presentation be made to each of the city councils and the Board of Supervisors. The ten minute presentation shows the flow of felony cases through the criminal justice system from arrest to disposition. The presentation also includes crime data specific to each jurisdiction. ! have asked Scott Green; our Senior Criminal Justice Evaluator, to make this presentation to your council at your convenience.
