Subject: ELECTION EXPENSES Statement of the Matter The following expenses have been incurred as a result of the June 5, 1979 Special Municipal Election: 1. Facilities & Poll Workers $3,055.00 2. Election Supplier 4,118.91 3. Registrar of Voters (Estimate) 1,000.00 4. Postage for mailing sample ballots 1,331.61 There are insufficient funds in the Elections Account for these expenses. It is, therefore, requested that the f.unds be transferred from the Unappropriated Reserves . Exhibits . - 1. Resolution No . Council Action 6-19-79: Council adopted Resolution No. 5808. 3 HELD_JUNE 5., 1979 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 RESOLUTION NO. 5808 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: • 1. That the transfer of Nine-Thousand, Five-Hundred-Six ($9,506.00) Dollars, for expenses incurred in the Special Municipal Election held June 5, 1979, be made from Unappropriated Reserves, Account No. 01-000-0900, to the Election Account, No. 01-102-2880. 2. That the Department of Finance Fund Transfer, No. 44 on file in said department and incorporated by reference herein is approved. • PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, at a Regular Meeting held on the 19th day of June , 1979, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Mayor Packard, Councilmen Lewis, Skotnicki, Anear and Councilwoman Casler20 i NOES: None ABSENT: None RONALD C.
