'RESOLUTION NO. 5829
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING AN
INTERIM SALARY PLAN FOR THE CITY FOR THE
1979-80 FISCAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City Council through the City Manager is
engaged in a process of meet and confer negotiations with employee
groups regarding salaries for the 1979-80 Fiscal Year; and,
WHEREAS, it is unlikely that the negotiations will be,
concluded before the start of said year, and it is desirable
to continue negotiations past that date; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary in order to adopt a preliminary
operating budget to establish an interim salary plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City of Carlsbad Salary Range Schedules,
Fiscal Year 1978-79, for all city employees, certain management
employees, and City Council appointed employees, as adopted by
Resolution No.'s. 5548, 5553, 5568 and 5635 as amended, is hereby
adopted as the interim salary plan for 1979-80 Fiscal Year.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular meeting of the
City of Carlsbad Council held on the 3rd day of _ Ju1y_. 1979►
by the following -vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Packard, Skotnicki, Lewis, Anear and
Councilwoman Casler
NOES: None
