SUBJECT:
FEE FOR MAILING OF .ENVIRONMENTAL NOTICES ,
STATEMENT OF THE MATTER
At the June 19, 1979 meeting, the City Council changed the fee for mailing
of environmental notices from $60 to $50. Attached is Ordinance No. / 7
which effects this change.

Council Action:
7-17-79 Council introduced Ordinance No. 1217, amending the Municipal Code
to reduce the fee for mailing of Environmental Notices to $50.00.
8-7-79 Council adopted Ordinance 1217.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 19, CHAPTER
19.04 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
AMENDMENT OF SECTION 19.04.260 TO REDUCE THE FEE
FOR MAILING OF'ENVIRONMENTAL NOTICES TO $50.00
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
ordain as follows:
Section 1: That Title 19, Chapter 19.04 of the Carlsbad
Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of Section 19.04.260
to read as follows:
"19.04.260 Mailing of notice on request -- Clerk. The
City lerk shall mail, on a continuing basis, copies of all notices
of appeal, notices of hearings and other notices resulting from
this chapter to any individual or group who files a written
request therefor. Such requests shall be made annually. A fee
of fifty dollars shall accompany each such request."
EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall be.effective thirty
days after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and cause it to be published at least
once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its
adoption.
INTRODUCED AND FIRST READ at a Regular Meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council, held on the 17th day of July 1979,
and thereafter
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of said
City Council, held on the 7th day of August 1979, by
