Because we do have complaints on the noise from the to the, it would help the staff ta have some guidelines concerning the kind of amplification and hours during which groups should usethepark. Although the staff could develop these guidelines, it might be useful $0 have input from other sources, E am, thereforep requesting the csanmissiopn to hold some hearings on this matter to which the public would be specifically invited to make comments, The staff would make some: effort eo contact citizens in the immediate area of the park as well as frequent users of the park so the commission would have various viewpoints expressed, Et would then be my intention to take any recomendakions from the commission to the City Counci% SQ that formall, policy could be established concerning the use sf the park, If this is agreeable to the ~omratissfon~ the staff wiLP make the necessary notifications, .
