REFUND OF FEES
Statement of the Matter
Charles J. Jamison, Attorney, applied for and was issued a business
license to operate at 800 Grand Avenue, Carlsbad. License fee for
an attorney is $50.00 annually and subject to quarterly proration.
Section 5.04.130 of the Municipal Code states no minimum license fee
shall be refunded. The .inimum fee for this category is $12. 50 whic:h
would reflect payment for one quarter. Mr. Jamison was in business
in Carlsbad for approximately one quarter and has requested a refund
of $25.00. Mr. Jamison originally paid $37.50.
