Jamison, Attorney, applied for and was issued a business license to operate at 800 Grand Avenue, Carlsbad. License fee for an attorney is $50.00 annually and subject to quarterly proration. Section 5.04.130 of the Municipal Code states no minimum license fee shall be refunded. The .inimum fee for this category is $12. 50 whic:h would reflect payment for one quarter. Mr. Jamison was in business in Carlsbad for approximately one quarter and has requested a refund of $25.00. Mr. Jamison originally paid $37.50. Refund of overpayment -Section 3. 32. 030: Zapata Constructors, Inc. $728. 00 Duplicate payment of Invoice #179 (P.O. Req. 9435, dated 7/12/79 ann Req. 9702, dated 7/30/79. Specific requests are on file in City Clerk's office. Exhibit None Recommendation Approve Council Action: 9-18-79 Council approved the above referenced requested refunds.
