ESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE D,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHOR-
IZING THE CITY CLERK TO INVITE BIDS FOR THE STREET IM-
PROVEMENTS, TRAFF IC S I GNAL AND L I GHT I NG ON PALOMAR A I RPORT
ROAD AT PASEO DEL NORTE - CONTRACT NO. 1072
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is

necessary and in the public interest to accomplish street improvements and in-
stallation of traffic signal and lighting on Palomar Airport Road at Pasel del
Norte; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor, ma-
terial, tools, equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or inci-
dental for said project, Contract No. 1072, have been prepared and are on file
in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and are incorporated by
reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council as follows:
I. The above recitati.ons are true.and correct.
2. The plans and specifications as presented are hereby approved.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and di-
rected to proceed to publish, in accordance with law, notice to contractors
inviting bids for construction of Contract No. 1072 in accordance with the plan
and specifications hereinabove referikd'to.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
at a regular meeting held the?nd day of October_, 1979, by the following
vote, to'wit:
