PROPOSED CITY COUNCIL MEETING IN LA COSTA AREA
tatement of the Matter
In response to a proposal by.a Councilmember to hold a Council
meeting in the La Costa area of the City, the fol,..wing infor-
mation is provided for Council consideration.
14EEl'ING LOCATION
A number of possible meeting locations were considered and evaluated.
The most desirable location appear& to be St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic -
Church, 6628 Santa Isabel. Father Florek graciously offered the use
of the church's facilities for a meeting location. Adequate space
and facilities are available to accommodate a meeting with public
seating for 50-75 persons. Adequate parking facilities are also
available.
MEETING DATE
It is recommended that the Council consider holding an adjourned
regular meeting on November 13, 1979 beginning at 7:00 PM. This
date should provide time for adequate notice.
AGENDA ITEMS
There are a number of possible ajenda items for the proposed meeting.
The following are a few likely possibilities:
1. La Costa Master Plan Revision. Update by the Planning
Department on the status of the Master Plan Revision.
2. Status of Traffic Signal projects in the Southern area
of the City by the Engineering Department.
3. Discussion of conceptual development plans for Levante
School site and Cadencia ballfield by the Parks and
Recreation Department.
Recommendation
If the Council desires to hold a meeting as outlined above, the
staff will proceed with arrangements for such a meeting.
